At that time, our consultants performed searches across all industries, regardless of their area of expertise. As the competition in the marketplace continued to increase, and the Japan economy remained stagnant, we reorganized our business in a way that clearly distinguished us from in the market. We had already experienced success with our Senior Management Practice, and we wanted to build upon this foundation by providing industry-specific services that would address the varying needs of our Client Partners and candidates alike.
Upon shifting to an industry-specific search methodology, we saw dramatic results in a relatively short period of time. We built practice groups around both industry and professional career specialization's.
Each practice group is led by an expert in that area of the business who understands the unique challenges facing the companies in that particular market space and the career professionals who work in these areas.
