Talent Search Partners
Ron is responsible for the firm's strategy and daily business operations. Specifically, he leads our Senior Management Practice as well as engagements with many major Client Partners and new client acquisitions. He focuses on searches for management/executive positions across all practice groups including Country Managers as well as Directors of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and other key positions. In the past, he has had assignments as our Director of Global Business Development and as the Director of our Strategic Partners Division which included responsibility for most of our largest Client Partners.
Ron grew up in Missouri before moving to Annapolis, Maryland where he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was commissioned as an officer in the Marine Corps and specialized in artillery. Ron was the Operations/Executive Officer for Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Nashville, Tennessee where he helped lead the turnaround of one of the lowest performing recruiting offices (#45 of 49) in America to #1 within one year. After a couple of years on recruiting duty in Nashville, Ron decided not to pursue a long-term career in the Corps and moved to Tokyo. He left the Corps as a Captain and joined the firm shortly thereafter.
Ron lives in Tokyo with his wife, son and daughter. In his free time, he spends as much time as possible with his family and is also an avid weight lifter, skier and basketball player.
